Product Interaction was started in 1988 by Steve Willan, London, England, assisted through the generous provision of The London United Investments Business Award, 1988.
The formative strategy was to service new and emerging design requirements of technology related business. Initial markets included developing the design technologies, such as architectural design software and electronic colour pre-press systems.
The mainstream adoption of graphical user interfaces for computers, and the arrival of the World Wide Web in the early 1990's gave extended scope to our initial service provisions.
These quickly diversified to include more varied areas within the design service sector, such as Smart Card service systems development, biometric image verification, and content provision, including video and networked media.
More recently, we have extended our provision to the design of Service Product Integration. We believe that the increased expectation of service users, your customers, will drive the commercial imperative for well designed and fully integrated services to even greater heights. In order to create commercial advantage from this, there will be an implicit need to design what we define as Total Service Products. These Total Service Products will be experienced as seamless service offerings conceived and designed in every detail to offer real and tangible benefits through fully integrated industrial design.
