Using the patented ActionDraw™ technology developed by Product Interaction, the true emotive gestures of the hand, with all of the inflexions that comprise the artistic signature, are captured to drive a responsive instrument in a real-time interactive space. The response of the system allows artistic mannerism within actions to show through.

The artist is free to select from sets of built-in instrument behaviours, or is able to assemble new instruments from low level controls that tune the reactions to suit their needs. This flexibility also extends to the space for making marks, where behaviours can be assigned to react over time.
Furthermore, ActionDraw™ allows accident, an implicit part of all creative acts, to be re-used and explored in ways that present media systems do not fully exploit. By using the session control, the entire gestures of the hand driven instrument, together with all accidental events, can be captured and saved for replay using different conditions and controls.
