
Test rushes were trialed, and the entire sequence was then rendered to PAL broadcast standards with timecode for video post production.
To enhance the action detail within fast moving scenes, field rendering with temporal aliasing was employed. This significantly smoothed the movement of fast moving parts in the sequence.
The caustic ray effects were modelled and animated geometrically, as these had yet to be supported within the renderer. Attention to this detail allowed us to demonstrate the optical results of using different beam attachments.
