A respected industrial design consultant commissioned a series of visuals to illustrate a new HiFi system controller for a well known British HiFi manufacturer.

Using part drawings and text layout maps, we constructed a 3D wireframe mesh, and applied detailed operational graphics accurately in situ.

Texture maps for the plastic materials were custom defined, and the model was then placed on a simple flat plane and illuminated using a three spot light set-up.

The textures on the background were deliberately degraded to the constituent pixels, in order to contrast a natural quality of the medium against some of the hard edge photo-realistic effects visible in the images.
